When I was little my Grandmother told me that I was going to become a writer. I guess she saw something in the words she read from my pages. Me and writing, we’ve been together for awhile. I’ll be the first to admit, words often fall short in describing the experiences we find ourselves in. But I love them anyway. I’ve been singing my whole life. Ever since I can remember. At the piano. In choir. In musicals on stage. With guitars beside lakes in the Pacific Northwest. And eventually in Seattle. The Seattle jazz scene was a place I called home for many years, surrounded by incredible musicians, where any night of the week you could go and hear the most amazing live music.
